Biografie

Alexandrea ist seit Jan 2022 bei #SheTransformsIT. Hier hat sie die Geschäftsstelle aufgebaut und darf jeden Tag unsere Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft digitaler und inklusiver gestalten. Ihre Vision formuliert sie folgendermaßen: "I believe in a more digital, diverse and equitable future. My role as Managing Director for #SheTransformsIT at the Federation of German Industry (BDI), enables me to do this on a daily basis. In my position, I build bridges between politics, industry, NGOs and academia to advocate for more women in tech and STEM fields. Together with leading industry partners we undertake academic studies, engage in high level discussions, curate events and implement social media campaigns to make women in tech more visible and to transform the tech field. By trade I am a political scientist, economist and philosopher. Over my studies and career I have become passionate about the intersections between tech, industry, and diversity. When all three are properly combined - we can truly champion the transformation we need for a better society, economy and planet. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, I first moved to Germany to pursue a Fulbright Scholarship and currently reside in Berlin. I hold a BA in International Relations & German Studies, as well as an MSc in Politics, Economics, and Philosophy."
