About Thomas Joos

Thomas Joos has been working for more than three decades as an independent IT expert, consultant, and analyst with a focus on enterprise IT, cloud architectures, IT security, and artificial intelligence. He has published around 100 technical books and written several thousand technical articles for leading IT media outlets, publishers, and portals, including Heise, Foundry, WEKA, and the Vogel Group as well as dpa.

In addition to editorial work, he creates content for agencies and companies, including technical articles, whitepapers, studies, and technical analyses for B2B communication. At the same time, he advises companies and public authorities on topics such as AI strategy, resilience, cloud usage, and security. He works independently of manufacturers and combines journalistic experience with practical project experience from real IT infrastructures.
